There's no doubt that I'm a big fan of setting goals, I love to set small goals, next to impossible goals or even just daily goals. The moment I started setting goals I felt a lot more purpose and direction and gave me the feeling of "Heck yeah! I'm getting shit done" (not any old shit, exciting, meaningful, thrilling, challenging, life changing kind of stuff)
So at the risk of sounding like a harry hard out I am posting this you tube video. The video below is one that I came across a few years ago, it's about goals and how much you're willing to commit to achieve them. Goals don't have to be sport related, in fact you should most definitely have goals that aren't sport related, whether they're directed towards your career, relationships, hobbies, travel etc it's always a good idea to have goals that involve other parts of your life!
I like this video because it helped me differentiate between whether I was just setting a goal for the sake of it or whether I really wanted it. Now don't get me wrong, you don't have to want all your goals "as bad as you want to breathe" but those BHAG's (big hairy audacious goals) you should!
